Description
smelling the honeysuckle on my terrific back porch at our old house helped lead this tune into my world.

beauty in the world (3:01)
(if you are viewing on an iPad or iPhone, click here to listen.)
Rippling wave of a bounding squirrel
Jumping rope of a knee-socked, little girl
Waving bounce of an ebony curl
I’m grateful for beauty in the world,
I’m grateful for beauty in the world.
The wounded soul, now re-made whole
Tattered heart, no longer torn apart
The clasping hands of long-time enemies,
A healing sight for those with eyes to see.
Breath of lavender in the Spring
Honey-suckle whisper as the crickets sing
Scented touch that rose petals bring
I’m grateful for beauty in the world,
I’m grateful for beauty in the world.
The wounded soul….
Purple heather on the mountainside
Tender glance ‘tween an aged pair of eyes
Giggle of a growing infant child,
I’m grateful for beauty in the world
I’m grateful for beauty in the world
